About PayCalcHQ

PayCalcHQ is a small independent publishing project that builds free pay, salary and freelancer calculators with the working shown. It was created because most calculator sites give you a number with no formula, no example and no way to check whether it is right.

How we work

Every calculator page documents its formula in plain language, includes a worked example you can verify by hand, and the calculation code is unit-tested before publication. When a formula depends on a law or official table (for example a tax slab), we verify it against the primary official source before publishing, and we say so on the page. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish the calculator.

Who is behind it

The site is operated by Ahmed, a freelancer based in Lahore, Pakistan, with more than four years of experience in remote client work and guest operations. The freelancer pricing content is written from that working experience. Contact details are on the contact page.

What we are not

We are not accountants, tax advisers or lawyers. Results are educational estimates. See the disclaimer.
